by several models! Order a propane fill now for our $1.97/gallon propane via bill@ncdiscountpropane.com & 919-264-9061
We call January & February the propane 'Danger Months' where cold temps, bad weather, and propane supply chain and worker issues can cause delays, problems, and price hikes for those who do not enjoy our locked-in rates at NC Discount Propane.
Several computer weather models are currently predicting a lot of arctic air "Big Arctic Blast" for NC and our region Jan 3-11. While the accuracy of these predictions may vary, some are very dramatic (see info links below)
Please remember it can take up to 7 business days for any propane order with NC Discount Propane (or even longer with other companies) to reach your tank for use! Orders I place Monday could take until Jan 10 to reach you and an adverse weather event may really jam up the propane delivery systems.
We have an Emergency Delivery service that can deliver within 48 hours for a $300 surcharge which is far below the $700 Ive seen other companies charge for this rush delivery in Jan and Feb. This expensive option comes in handy for those who end up under 10% in the middle of Winter.
If your tank is under 60% you can order now and if you are under 40% you urgently should order now, and if you are under 25% you are probably in trouble by Jan 10.
