This is the time of year that many propane tank owners hope for a break on their propane bills and will hold the line with the propane they have until next season.
However, there are two good reasons you should consider ordering a new fill from NC Discount Propane this week!
One, Temps are expected to dive near freezing this coming Tuesday night, and forecasters say we are in for a prolonged cold spell and pattern in the middle of March 2023. The current high temp forecast for this Fri in Raleigh, NC, is only 49, and the forecast thinks we will be below freezing at night by this weekend. Some models even suggest we may get some snow or sleet. With this new cold spell headed our way, might be best to get a new fill this week.
Two, While we have been able to get a new deal for our propane tank owners before each Fall heating season since 2016, it is not 100% assured we can always get a deal or that next season's propane will be this affordable. It is a good idea to strategically top of your tanks before our current contract and rate for you expires at the end of May 2023. It's best to get these gallons we have (26,000 remaining) while they are cheap!
