While most current NC Discount Propane orders arrive within seven business days, we have a few running long and one customer in the mountains of NC who is on business day 11!
While we are all enjoying the current warm temperatures (False Spring), a new cold snap is coming our way next week, and the last bout with severe cold has the propane supply chain in a jam.
A lot of people are ordering propane now because their tank levels dropped a lot during the recent cold temps and now propane delivery trucks are stacked up at the pipeline facilities which is increasing the time required for many deliveries. Our supplier tells us "... long lines at the terminals which is causing delivery issues to the districts."Please check your tanks. If they are under 60%, you may order now. Remember that, depending on where you are in North Carolina, it may take 7-11 business days for new deliveries to reach your tank.
Don't get caught with a low tank in the low temps next week with supply chain delays.
