This message is to alert you that our NC Discount Propane savings group's current bulk contract on propane ends on May 31, 2023.
After that date, we can still fill your tanks at a higher market rate until we can hopefully negotiate a new bulk deal for our 150+ propane tank owners before the next heating season in Aug or Sept.
All of you now qualify for our A-Group rate of $2.15/gallon through the end of May!
We need your help to get as much of our remaining 19,000 gallons of propane, still on our contract, into tanks before May 31 as possible.
If your tank is or will be below 70% by mid-May, please consider RSVPing to this email with your name and address to be added to our Mid-May propane top-off list for the following reasons.
We still have 19k propane gallons to sell, and it is in the best interest of our tank owners, NC Discount Propane, & propane supplier for us to sell all of our contracted gallons.
2 Wholesale propane prices are rising rapidly along with gas prices right now, and there is a strong chance your next price, after May 31, will be higher than our current $2.15/gallon
3 Having your tank full over the Summer break gives all of us the assurance that you will be all set while we work to make arrangements for a new contract down the road.
4 If you are currently ordering or installing a new propane tank, please press your installation schedule to be able to fill your new tank before the May 31 current locked price deadline or you may have to pay higher rates to fill that tank.
5 While we have been able to get a bulk rate for multiple tank owners each year since 2016, it is not 100% certain we can obtain a satisfactory bulk rate contract for next season (we will do our very best), so filling your tank before the end of May is a wise decision.
I will be filling my own tank as part of the mid-May top-off to take place around May 15-19 and we already have five of our tank owners requesting to be on that list with their orders in already.
