Please monitor your propane tank levels closely, you can order more if under 60%, you SHOULD ORDER MORE if under 40%, and try to NEVER let your tank get near 20% during the winter and Winter Storms. (Order now by replying to this email to bill@ncdiscountpropane.com)

The NC Forecast says we are in for frigid arctic air for the next few days, with a warming trend starting on Sunday.

At this time, there are many parts of North Carolina where the roads are too hazardous for propane trucks to attempt deliveries. In other areas, deliveries have slowed down significantly due to the ice and snow from this Winter Storm.

There are hundreds of wrecks on the roadways, and in places, we have DOT and transfer trucks crashing too.

We expect to start catching up on our propane delivery schedules first of next week during the melt off. Please remember that normal deliveries can take up to 7 business days from the time of your order and Winter Storms and high demand can increase delivery times.

Some areas got more than six inches of snow and the snow map (pictured above) shows a large swath of central NC got 4-6 inches with many other areas getting 1-3.

If your tank is low, conserve until our trucks can reach you but it is unlikely anyone with current orders for delivery who are in the heavy snow accumulation areas will receive any deliveries until next week.

Keep Safe & Warm,

Bill
